Québecair, Inc. - (QB/QBA)

Montréal-Dorval

This company purchased two used Series 304AXs in mid April 1969 and a used Series 402AP in mid March 1973 following the earlier lease of a Series 409AY for crew training from mid March to mid April 1969. A Series 204AF was leased from US Air from May 1982 to January 1983 and two used Series 420ELs were purchased in September 1982. The aircraft were used in a 79 seat all tourist configuration on schedules linking Québec City and Montréal with Bagotville/Saguenay, Baie-Comeau, Churchill Falls, Mont-Joli/Rimouski, Rouyn, Schefferville, Sept-Îles, Toronto, Val-d’Or and Wabush/Labrador City. Charter flights were flown at weekends to points including Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, St. Petersburg-Clearwater and Tampa in Florida, to Havana in Cuba and to Freeport and Nassau in the Bahamas from both Québec City and Montréal. The last of the One-Elevens was withdrawn in May 1985.
